Saskatoon Climate: Storms transfer out … seasonal climate Sunday

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) – A cold front dragged through this afternoon causing widespread showers and storms. The rain has moved out and the slightly cooler air will move in tonight.

We should start with temperatures in the mid-40s on Sunday morning. Some cloud cover will remain until Sunday morning, but we should clean up in the afternoon. With the sunshine we should warm up into the low 60s

How cold will it be behind the front?

This is a Pacific front, so the air behind the front isn’t quite as cold. We’re going to see a small drop in temperature with lows in the 40s and highs in the low 60s for Sunday.

When is our next chance of rain?

Another cold front will find its way on Wednesday evening. In front of the front on Wednesday we should see isolated showers and storms during the day. The front should move out late Wednesday through Thursday morning and take the rain with them.

What is the weather forecast for Saskatoon on Christmas Day?

The cold front on Wednesday evening should bring colder and drier weather by Christmas. At this point we expect a cold morning in the 30s with a mostly sunny afternoon in the 50s. It is possible that there was even some frost on the ground on Christmas morning.
