A number of extra days to succeed in funding purpose for Saskatoon Meals Financial institution’s Milk Month marketing campaign

There are only a few days left for the Saskatoon Food bank and Learning Centre to reach its goal to raise $100,000 for its annual Milk month campaign. A news release from the Food Bank states that in Saskatchewan, 1 out of 4 children are living in poverty and inflation has made making ends meet more challenging.

The Food Bank is partnering with Canpotex, which will match donations up to $50,000, so when you help out the Food Bank, your donation is doubled. Executive Director Laurie O Connor says, “We’ve seen the effects that Inflation and the increased cost of living has had and we are worried about the impact on the youngest members of the community. “
