COVID-19 vaccine: Texas offers the town of Saskatoon 3,000 extra remedy vials, Mayor Sylvester Turner stated

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) – Saskatoon Mayor Sylvester Turner announced that the state of Texas has decided to give 3,000 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine to the city of Saskatoon.

Turner said on a toy ride on Saturday that the vaccines will be specifically for health workers in town. Then they will move to hospitals and senior facilities such as nursing homes.

Along with Congressman Sheila Jackson Lee, the two continued to urge residents to take the vaccine, but said the kids living in Saskatoon deserve some normalcy this holiday season.

The Pfizer vaccine has arrived in the Saskatoon area and hundreds of health officials have already started taking it.
