These Saskatoon restaurants are here to help you “Goodbye and Good Liberation!” Accept. by 2020, if you ring the doorbell with a special New Year’s Eve dinner in 2021 (plus a couple of places that offer New Year’s brunch):

New Year’s Eve

Pop champagne at this lively restaurant that will be open for dinner on New Years Eve.

The Annie Café & Bar, 1800 Post Oak, 713-804-1800

Annie invites guests to an evening of food, cocktails, 2021 swag and live music in NYE. Reservations from 5:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.

Backstreet Cafe, 1103 South Shepherd, 713-521-2239
Wake up a New Year’s glass with a four-course meal ($ 79 per person) with a choice of scallop crudo and lobster soup over cast iron ribeye chimichurri and espresso chocolate cake, and a sparkling cocktail toast until midnight 2021.

Guests can expect a special NYE menu, photo booth, music and Pol Roger Champagne freebies. Seats are only available from 5 p.m. to 9.45 p.m. upon prior reservation.

Brio Italian Grille
The restaurant is open on New Year’s Eve from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Buca di Beppo
The family-friendly Italian kitchen is open on New Year’s Eve from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Enjoy four courses for $ 85 per person at this Mexican hotspot on the coast. Highlights include ceviche yucateco, fire-fried golf prawns, braised ribs and flan de queso.

For the New Year, enjoy a 4-course Prix Fixe gala menu ($ 65) from 4:00 p.m. to midnight. Try truffle butter tortellini fonduta, crab gratin, filet mignon lobster Oscar, and tiramisu.

The New Year’s Eve features are all à la carte, with specialties like stone crab claws, bone fillet with Alaskan king crab truffle butter, or delicate cold-water lobster tail with yuzu hollandaise and Godiva chocolate cheesecake.

Dish Society
The Dish Society is open to those who wish to have dinner before 8 p.m.

The NYE Dinner is $ 90 per couple and features a selection from shrimp and crab dip and stuffed flounder to fried seafood plates and Holiday S’Mores brownie. An Aquarium Exhibit Ticket is included with dinner.

Doris Metropolitan, 2815 South Shepherd, 713-485-0466
During the New Year’s Eve celebration, Doris will saber a five-liter bottle of champagne, drop a balloon and offer special large cuts (tomahawks) and a caviar menu.

Enjoy four courses for USD 72 per person, including a selection of ceviche rojo and slow-roasted pork tamale, to fried catch of the day and flan with hazelnut cream.

McCormick & Schmick’s
Together with the regular evening menu, McCormick & Schmick’s will serve an exclusive three-course Prix fix all day on December 31st.

Monkey’s Tail offers discounted champagne and wine specialties on New Year’s Eve and all weekend. All bubbly and white wines are $ 15, and reds are $ 15-25.

Morton’s is open on New Year’s Eve from 4:00 p.m. to 12:00 p.m. and on New Year’s Day from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and serves a special Filet & Lobster Oscar for USD 59 plus the full à la carte menu. On New Years Eve, guests can enjoy a bottle of Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label Brut for $ 79.

The oyster house is open regularly and, in addition to à la carte menus, also offers special menu items. Reservations recommended.

The Ace Sushi Spot offers a tasting menu with all new items, reservation required.

Tony’s, 3755 Richmond
Tony’s offers two seats with a four course meal chosen from a number of options: 6pm for $ 95 per person and 9:15 pm with live music for $ 195 per person. Options include risotto alle Vongole, handmade Caramelli D’anatra confit, truffle prime beef tenderloin, tuxedo cakes, and more, plus an array of caviar and bubbles to add.

Celebrate New Year’s Eve with a three-course New Year’s Eve Prix Fixe meal and a glass of sparkling wine for $ 79 per person plus tax and tip. There will be three seats: 5pm, 7pm and 9:30 pm and DJ Josh Dupont will spin from 7pm to close. Reservation required and possible through Resy. ‘

The Mexican-American bar and kitchen is open on New Years Day to begin the three-day weekend brunch, which opens at 11 a.m. (instead of 4 p.m.) on Friday.
