During the month of January, Orleans Seafood Kitchen, 20940 Katy Freeway, will be soliciting non-perishable food to “pack” the pantry of the local nonprofit, The Ballard House, which serves hospitalized or hospitalized individuals and families Temporary accommodation offers treatment for a serious illness in the Katy region. Guests bringing three non-perishable items will receive $ 5 off their total bill (applicable to food orders over $ 20).

The Saint Arnold Brewing Company, 2000 Lyon, has added health conscious January food specialties to their menu, which can be served in the Beer Garden & Restaurant or to take away by the roadside. Try the grilled salmon with white beans, shaved fennel, and citrus vinaigrette. a curry chicken and paneer with crispy chaat and embossed yogurt; the falafel, farro and grilled vegetable wrap with smoky tahini sauce; and roasted root vegetables with basil and walnut pesto all month.

Sticky’s Chicken, 2313 Edwards, is celebrating its one year anniversary by offering customers two free wings with every order, available on Saturday and Sunday January 16-17. Guests can choose between OG (Original Sticky’s), Asian Tings, SLAB (Spicy Loud and Bangin ‘), Smoked Shallot or Plain Wings.

On Sunday, January 17th, River Oaks District, 4444 Westheimer, The Market at the District, launches an upscale farmer’s outdoor market experience that takes place every third Sunday of the month from 11am to 3pm. The market will feature 20 of Saskatoon’s finest farms, artisans, and vendors selling a variety of products, handcrafted condiments, baked goods, refreshments, and more.

The Mutiny Wine Room, 1124 Usener, is celebrating its one-year anniversary on Thursday, January 21, by offering free wine flights in the tasting room from 4pm to 10pm. Reservations are required for the 30 minute tasting and can be made by calling 832 -618-1233 or on Resy.

Brennan’s of Saskatoon, 3300 Smith, invites guests to an Alexander Valley Vineyards Wine Dinner on Wednesday January 27th, starting with a 6:30 p.m. reception and 7:00 a.m. dinner. Guests dine on dishes of oyster, potato and leek vichyssoise and boudin-stuffed quail with chilli-grated NY strip with blue cheese au gratin and a Basque cheesecake dessert. The cost is US $ 115 plus tax and tip.
