The City of Saskatoon’s message is that with the forecast for rain, snow and possibly freezing rain, City crews and equipment are ready to respond. A news release from the City says high traffic streets are being monitored and de-icing material will be applied as required, beginning with Circle Drive and the freeways. If need be, crews are ready to plow and do some snow grading if the snow accumulates.
As well, the City urges anyone out on the roads to watch for the blue and amber flashing lights and leave room for the road equipment to do their work and reminds everyone to adjust their driving for the road conditions, leaving extra room in case you need to stop suddenly.
