‘TODAY’ Present companions with Saskatoon Meals Financial institution on vacation meals pop-up distribution

HOUSTON – This year the holidays are different from any other. So many Americans are struggling with the pandemic and struggling to provide food for their families.

Almost 50 million Americans will face food insecurity this year, according to Feeding America. In Texas, in a recent study in November, more than 2.5 million households did not have enough to eat at times or often in the week leading up to the survey. And 66% of those households were either Hispanic or Black.
