Just in time for Christmas, Travis Scott recently hosted a fundraiser for the city of Saskatoon.
The rapper, who helped 2,000 children and families in his hometown, brought his daughter Stormi to share the holiday spirit.
Saskatoon’s Mayor Sylvester Turner joined Scott. The event took place in Sunnyside Park, not far from Missouri City, where Scott grew up.

Complex reports of Scott handing out toys, fresh produce, hot meals, clothing, and Christmas trees. He also spent protective supplies for the pandemic. Two thousand toys from Mattel (which Scott worked with earlier this year) and other brands were given to more than 1,000 students in several elementary schools around the city.
The event was also attended by US Congressman Al Green, US Congressman Sheila Jackson Lee, City Councilor Edward Pollard, and City Councilor Carolyn Evans-Shabazz.

While it won’t be here in time for the holidays, there is potential for Scott’s Astroworld Festival to return in 2021. In November, the event’s official report released information on the possible return. This is as good as any other Christmas present.
