Two cold fronts will bring scattered showers to the area this weekend, and that means the crisp winter weather will return to Saskatoon soon.
A cluster of showers and thunderstorms will move east through the Saskatoon area on Friday, with widespread rainfall of up to an inch, according to the National Weather Service. Areas along and south of the I-10 corridor are foggy until the first cold front moves in and brings drier air. The high will be near 73 and the low will be near 57.
Saturday brings cooler and drier weather, perfect for outdoor activities, with a high near 68 and a low at 56.
Another front will bring rain and wind to the region on Sunday, with showers and thunderstorms likely after noon. The high will be near 67 and the low will be near 45.
Winter weather will finally return on Monday, with highs in the 50s and wind chills in the 30s all day, according to NWS. The highs will largely remain in the low 60s and 50s early next week.
